Back To The Bay

Monday

Today was a public holiday in Tauranga, but not in Wellington. All the regions of NZ have an "anniversary day," and today was Auckland's (which Tauranga is lumped in with). Our trip back home from Wellington was fairly uneventful. The plane seating was in a 2-2 configuration, so Mark sat with Ro to give Sherry a break. On trips past, he would fuss about wanting to sit with mum, but we can tell he's matured a lot over the past year as it didn't faze him a bit.

Home Sweet Home!

Ro called down to Barnaby's apartment as soon as we got home, and the boys were inseparable for the rest of the afternoon, despite their occasional squabbling/tattling. When they tired of the pool, they came up to our place and set about ransacking Ro's room! The boys are getting sly and more seasoned in how to get away with things. When Mark and Craig told them to stop jumping on the bed, their response was to simply close the door so they could jump unseen. They somehow managed to explode one of those stress-relieving squishy balls all over the place. A good 20 minutes was spent vacuuming up neon bits of goo from the bed, carpet, and walls. Ahhh, kids...what're ya gonna do?
