Ro was actually sad since this was his last day of school in New Zealand. He's really come to enjoy the social interaction, so we're going to try and keep in touch with several of his classmates over the Christmas holiday. They got out of school early today, and Sherry took Ro to Drury Park for his friend Jack's birthday picnic. Sherry agreed to help Justine (Jack's mum) supervise the boys as the party moved to Baywave. The boys spent a good two hours happily zooming down the big Hydroslide, then had birthday cake in the café there. Ro wasn't finished swimming, though, as he talked Sherry into hitting the pool again after dinner.
